Whats up with Vanille and Fang? : FinalFantasy
Also, If you don't agree about Vanille & Fang as a couple, Do you think Hope & Lightning on the other hand has more promising future. . I haven't played the last FFXIII installment but the only relationship to speak of in the. Their relationship is definitely not one of big sister, little sister. and Fang, with Fang actually topping Lightning as my favorite character. I loved. The whole 'free Vanille and Fang' was just an afterthought. . me by their relationship (Hope and Lightning's) in this game was her abduction.
The lengths to which Lightning is being controlled, along with her struggle between letting it happen or breaking free, is a large part of the story. Lightning exists because someone had to raise Serah, without that need Claire would have never created her.
When she does act purely of her own accord, it comes at the end of her journey, and shortly after she re-integrates Claire Farron into her self. To conclude, there is a disturbing lack of Lanille on Tumblr. Step up your game, shippers. Hell, it ends with them on Earth. Lightning ends the fantasy world.
Another interpretation of the ending is that the fantasy, really was just that. The entire universe ultimately revolved around a small group of people, and a lot of time was spent on them working their interpersonal and internal issues out, as well as fighting gods.
Do you think Vanille & Fang are a couple? :: FINAL FANTASY XIII General Discussions
That sounds like a tabletop RPG to me. Maybe Claire was DMing the whole thing, or leading the party through a campaign. The end has Light reconnecting with Claire, what if that was Claire disengaging from the fantasy world?
Another fantasy, though certainly not the last in this case. Sazh comes over and visits. I would pay good money for DLC that was nothing but the cast getting together over coffee and shooting the shit. How does that play out?
How are Serah and Snow are doing, especially now that Light accepts their marriage? Now that the world-ending threats have passed, what challenges are they finding? How are they doing on Earth? Is it easy to stay connected? Which country did they each decide to live in, and why? Is existence low key, or are they still finding trouble? They all needed each other to change themselves.
- Fang and Vanille...is it canon?
It was nothing but a couple hundred pages of what happened during those first thirteen days after Fang and Vanille woke up. A realistic expectation for an unrealistic hope. For some reason in the summer of I decided to play through again. I guess that my feeling at the time was that it was a pretty good game, I wanted an RPG, and I wanted to run through it now that I knew how the weapon upgrading system worked mostly….
I loved the hell out of it. How I feel during a depression cycle. Also too cute not to link I had never been big into fandoms, nor had I ever actually read fanfiction before. Best twenty bucks I ever spent. But perfect is never beautiful. It taught me about healthy friendships and relationships. I love it not in spite of its flaws, but the package as a whole. Even if the sequels never fully understood the magic of the original. If the Order gave it to her, then why is it designed so differently from the rest of their gear?
It seems to play no role in anything, so why would they give it to her? What purpose does it serve?
Why does it have horns?! Why does she have the rest of her clothing at the end, but not the hat? Is it not a part of her? Did Bhunivelze remove it when he took her soul?
If they gave it to her to cover up her hair, as some sorta religious thing, then why is it translucent? Did Vanille decide to wear it? Why is she the only returning character with only a partial wardrobe change?
Did she just decide to wear it around that one day? And every other day, as Light never sees Vanille without it until she defeats Bhunivelze. For that matter, why are Fang, Sazh, Hope, and Noel still wearing the same clothes besides pre-existing art assets and character models?
Final Fantasy XIII is Still Queer as Hell: Jaydra Discusses ‘Lightning Returns’
Did Light just happen to catch them on the day they wore old stuff? Why would Vanille decide to elabourate on her dress? Did she make it? Did Lumina think it up? Was Claire Farron a fashion designer? Even if you wanted to make one, where in that tiny world would you get all those unique materials?
Is there a demand for translucent tangerine cloth and golden medallions? Is it cold in Luxerion? If so, then why not change out the rest of her clothes for something warmer? Why does she remind me of a reindeer? Why the hell am I so fixated on this hat?! Now, don't you worry. I'll come and find you, no matter where you go. Fang and Vanille hail from the village of Oerba on Gran Pulse.
Fang begrudged Oerba's patron fal'Cie, Animafor failing to protect the people of Gran Pulse, and agreed to the ceremony of being made Anima's l'Cie as a way to get close enough to confront it. Fang had an outburst in Anima's chamber and was going to be put to death for blasphemy by the Oerba priests.
Vanille, who was next in line to be branded a l'Cie, shielded Fang and begged for her life to be spared, offering her own to complete their Focus together so that they would never be apart.
Together, Fang and Vanille gained the power to become the beast Ragnarok to fulfill their Focus of destroying Cocoon.
Vanille feared the power bestowed upon them and Fang became Ragnarok alone to complete their Focus. Fang's Ragnarok cracked Cocoon's shell and, taking pity on the people of Cocoon, the goddess Etro intervened and crystallized both Vanille and Fang before they could complete their Focus. Fang and Vanille's crystallized forms ended up in the Pulse VestigeAnima's resting place, and in the war's aftermath, Cocoon's fal'Cie raided Pulse for materials to fix the damage Cocoon had sustained, and the crystallized Fang and Vanille were brought into Cocoon.
Fang and Vanille's threat causes Kujata to brand Dajh a l'Cie. Hundreds of years later, Fang and Vanille awaken from crystal stasis. Fang awakens with no memory of the past events dealing with Ragnarok and Vanille lies about losing her memory as well, taking on the burden of Ragnarok to spare Fang the guilt.
Fang finds her l'Cie brand scorched and unchanging but Vanille's brand is still active, and over the next two days Fang tries to remember their Focus to prevent Vanille from becoming a Cie'tha crystalline monster a l'Cie who fails their Focus transforms into. They take her outside and watch over her until she regains consciousness and leaves. Fang thinks their Focus has something to do with attacking Cocoon and two days later, using stolen ID cards, they board a train to Euride Gorge to see its fal'Cie, Kujata.
Fang proposes she and Vanille attack it to restore their memories but before they can make their move, Sazh Katzroy 's son, Dajhhappens upon them. Realizing the depth of the situation, the two flee before Sazh finds them. Sanctum troops flood the facility and Fang forces Vanille to escape alone. Fang fights off their pursuers and returns to the town of Bodhumbut is captured by the Cavalry the next day. When Rygdea returns from Bodhum empty-handed the following day, Fang is not surprised he did not find her.
Fang asks Lebreau about Vanille. In the four days since the Euride Gorge incident, Fang stays on the Lindblum to avoid capture, but worries she is wasting Vanille's time by not resuming her search. Two days later, Fang revisits the Vestige while still in contact with the Cavalry and unknown to her, just misses Vanille. Knowing Vanille will be herded onto a Purge train, Fang has Raines and Rygdea help her rescue Vanille in exchange for the promise she and Vanille will help them take down the Sanctum, the fal'Cie-guided government of Cocoon.
Two days later, after the last Purge train leaves Bodhum, the Lindblum lands on the surface of Lake Bresha and Fang rides in an airship with Rygdea to the Purge train's destination, the Hanging Edge. Edit I've got a few screws loose, but I'm a l'Cie, same as you. I wasn't born on Cocoon. I'm from Gran Pulse. The 'world below' you all hate so much.
Oerba Yun Fang
My partner and I'd turned to crystal there and gone to sleep. But when we came around, here we were. The reason Cocoon's in an uproar is the same reason you're here now.
