I also can't wait to see Dakota Fanning as Jane.

I was excited because she's a great actress and can do justice on just about any character. I was scared because Jane is a very scary character, and I'm sure Dakota will do such a good job that it'll give me nightmares.

The pictures I've seen so far of her confirm that. I also just want to see how they portray a large number of evil vampires. So far, all we've seen is the good vampires and a very small number of evil ones. We haven't even scratched the surface of how many vampires exist in the Twilight universe, and it'll be interesting to see how they handle having a bunch of vampires in one place. One more thing I like about the Italy scenes is the car that Alice steals. I'm assuming my audience hasn't read the books, so I'll bring you up to speed on this detail.

In Italy, Alice has to steal a fast car to get her and Bella where they need to be. So she steals a yellow Porche Turbo, just after she shamelessly asks Bella, "How strongly are you opposed to grand theft auto? I may not know very much about cars, but I know enough to know when a car is powerful and just awesome all around. But when it comes down to it, there are tons more scenes I can't wait for.

There's the motorcycles, the cliff diving, and don't even get me started about all the Jacob shirtless scenes!

But this one tops them all by just a smidge. What scene from the "Twilight" book wasn't in the movie, and why should it have been?

Wow -- lots of things missing or different from the book but the first one that comes to mind is the scene in Biology class when Edward ditches class because they are doing blood typing that day. Bella is still unaware that Edward is a vampire at this stage of the game. Unbeknownst to Edward, Bella is super squeamish about the mere sight of blood and almost passes out in class. I think it would have been a great scene for the movie because of the irony of their situation he being an amazing bloodsucker and her being a total wimp about blood and an opportunity to accentuate the tension between Mike who has a crush on Bella and is the one who is taking her to the school nurse and Edward who intercedes, sweeps Bella into his arms and takes her to the school nurse himself leaving a miffed Mike in the dust.

One of the scenes I think should have been in the "Twilight" movie is the scene where Edward is showing Bella Carlisle's room. Part of this scene's dialog was used in the movie, but not all of it. Some of the omitted parts will actually become a little important in "New Moon.

You find out when Carlisle was changed and what his life was like before he was changed, why he chose to be a "vegetarian" vampire, and basically everything he did for the past couple of centuries. Because this part of the dialog is absent from the movie, there's a missing connection between the audience and Carlisle. In my opinion, that should be there so the audience understands what he went through to get where he is today.

Also, Edward mentions the Volturi in this scene. He doesn't actually use the term Volturi, but he mentions Carlisle's "old friends" Aro, Marcus, and Caius. This is the only mention of them before the big fiasco in "New Moon," and it seems small and insignificant, but it actually foreshadows very big, terrible things to come. At this point, all the non-reading audience knows of vampire evil is James, Victoria, and Laurent, and they don't even come close to what the Volturi are like.

And even though Edward doesn't elaborate on them in the book, the little mention of their names and that they were friends of Carlisle's makes them take on a slightly different air than if they were just random bad guys that showed up for no reason.

Another thing Edward talks about in this scene is a little of his own past. This was the main part of this scene they put in the movie, but they still left some stuff out. What they left out was, what Edward called, his "bout of rebellious adolescence". He briefly describes the time when he left Carlisle because he didn't want to be a "vegetarian". This short section the filmmakers left out reveals how Edward sees himself.

They address this a little bit, but having him explain the time he rebelled Carlisle's lifestyle choice definitely adds something extra to the effect. This scene holds quite a bit of importance, in my opinion, and should have been expanded in the movie. And even if they thought it slowed the story down, they could have at least showed Carlisle's study so you get that effect the paintings provide. But there are many scenes that should have been in the movie, and countless more that could have been done better, and there's not much you can do about it.

Taylor Lautner makes a good Jacob Black: After checking out all of the trailers of "New Moon" the last few months -- I will go with "true.

I was skeptical at first -- Jacob grows to very tall and muscle bound in the book and Taylor is clearly not very tall -- I wasn't sure he could pull it off. I think the fact that he is, in reality, only 17 yrs. Hey he still makes a big bad wolf right? So I've been told that today's question goes a little something like this: I cannot wrap my mind around the idea that someone might think Taylor Lautner shouldn't play Jacob.

It just doesn't make sense. Let's explore why, shall we. Taylor is an amazing actor and brings every element of a character to life when he acts.

"Twilight" star Lautner challenged to push-up duel

Though the majority of his stuff outside "Twilight" was done years ago, it's easy to tell that he easily connects to his character, and uses that connection to pull off a very convincing performance. I'm sure you could find no one who disliked Jacob Black more than me.

Jonas and Taylor Lautner Bad Boy Series Character Contest! (CLOSED!)

It bordered on hatred. I laughed maliciously and shouted "HA! That's what you get, idiot! But when I saw Taylor, what ran through my head was this thought: I'm going to end up liking Jacob at some point, aren't I? Taylor has made me just about become a Team Switzerland the undecided team, it's an inside joke.

Though part of that has to do with the fact that I don't think Robert Pattinson should be playing Edward, a lot of it has to do with Taylor just being an amazing actor and changing my mind that way.

Taylor has said before that people tell him he's like Jacob before he became a jerk. I couldn't agree more! All of the good things about Jacob that I didn't notice previously are like Taylor. Before Jacob becomes a werewolf, he's a loveable, supportive, fun guy that any girl would love to date.

That seems to be what Taylor is. He has an easy smile that's infectious and can make people laugh without really thinking too much about it.

This makes him the perfect candidate for the part of Jacob because it always works better if the actor is a lot like the character. Though the casting director most likely didn't think this was important, the fact that he's from Michigan definitely skews my opinion.

I think it's just so unfathomably awesome that someone from my neck of the woods is in a movie series as big as this. Every once in a while I get the feeling of complete disbelief that the guy who's on the poster in my room grew up just a few miles away, and was born in the same city just 23 days after me. It completely boggles my mind sometimes. And this, in my opinion, is a very important deciding factor in whether he should play Jacob or not.

So could someone tell me why false was an option here? I still haven't figured that out. If anyone from Michigan thinks Taylor shouldn't play Jacob they should be run out of town for disloyalty.
