Biles is a four-time US all-around champion and three-time world all-around champion. Hurd, the reigning all-around world champion known for her ability to perform with her glasses on, is finishing up her first year at senior status. Placed first in the vault, second in the floor exercise, and 10th in all-around at the US Classic. Carey is the reigning US vault champion. At Worlds last year, she won silver in vault and floor exercise.
Won gold in all-around, vault, and floor at the US Classic in July. All-around bronze and silver in vault, bars, and beam. Repeated as all-around champion at the American Cup in March. Earlier this year in NCAA competition, he won individual national titles for all-around, floor, vault, parallel bars, and helped Oklahoma win the team national championship.

Tatum who turns 7 in December is one of the top 50 7 year olds in the country. Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics is celebrating massive wins at national competitions with gymnasts qualifying to compete at both the Eastern National Championships and the Junior Olympic National Championships.
The gymnasts walked away with impressive wins. Isabella Crane won a silver on floor and Calista Hildago won bronze on vault. For the first time ever, Region 8 was crowned super team champions by placing the highest in all team sessions combined.
Lakewood Ranch Gymnastics continued it successful streak later in May when five gymnasts qualified to compete in the prestigious Junior Olympic National Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio. This competition showcases the best level 10 gymnasts around the country, representing all eight regions and twelve age groups. All five Lakewood Ranch gymnasts had outstanding finishes in the Top 20 of gymnasts in their divisions.
USAIGC & IAIGC World Championships
Morgan Denofa, age 13, was a first year Level 10 and a first time competitor at the event. She earned an 18th place finish on vault and in the all-around competition, in the Junior A division.
Kelsey Lee, also in the Junior A division finished with 12th place on uneven bars. Lily Pierson, a first year Level 10 and a first time qualifier, finished with 17th place on vault in the Junior C division. Sandra Elsadek, a second time national qualifier, finished with a 12th place on bars in the Senior F division. Derrian Gobourne, a six time national qualifier and now two time JO National Team Member, finished the event with 7th place on vault, 6th place on beam, 4th place on floor, 3rd place in the all-around and is the new National Champion on the uneven bars.
Both Derrian and Sandra will be attending college in the fall with full athletic scholarships to Auburn and Ball State respectively. LWRG had the most gymnasts of any club in Florida sign full rides this year! LWRG had the largest team participants walking and even flipping for a cure. Thank you to our staff, parents and especially gymnasts for an amazingly successful and fun 6 years! We love being a part of the Lakewood Ranch development and are so excited for the continued growth of our community!

Level 10, Sandra Elsadek, in her first trip to nationals had a solid competition hitting all 4 of her events. The highlight was a great floor routine scoring a 9. LWRG is so very proud of them! A huge congratulations to Level 9 Jaden on becoming the Eastern National Champion on vault scoring a 9.

Congratulations to our awesome Xcel Gymnasts and coaches on another amazing season. Our teams all finished in the top 3 in the team competition Silver 1st, Gold 2nd, Bronze 3rdwe had 27 athletes qualify to regionals in Myrtle Beach next month three of which will represent team Floridaand 21 individual state titles. Also congrats to Morgan who is an alternate and is the regional vault champion! Our Level 8 team took home the team title Sunday in Coral Springs. Mark your calendars for our annual Spring Gymnastics Showcase Fiesta!
This event will showcase our preschool and recreational gymnasts as they perform on May 27, We are beyond thrilled to announce that our Level 9 team with only 5 gymnasts took home the third place team title at the Florida state championships! Competing against teams with more than double the number of athletes our tiny but mighty team had a great competition in which every athlete contributed greatly to the win.
We are so excited to announce that our Level 6 team won the second place state team title at the Florida State Meet! This team made up of ALL first year optional athletes many who did Level 4 this past fall missed out on first place by the most minimal margin possible.
Twelve athletes are headed to Mobile, Alabama for regionals. Their coaches Dali and Andy did an amazing job moving so many kids up and preparing them so well.
We are so grateful to them for doing such an amazing job.
