Mandolin is your community and your participation will only strengthen it! Our community is made up of single family homes focused within six neighborhoods including one that is gated.
Sprinkled within and around those neighborhoods are 27 freshwater lakes and ponds, which add beauty as well as a feeling of serenity to the community. We are also rich in wooded and conservation areas, which provide habitat for local wildlife, including deer. A small county park is located at the front of the community.
It provides opportunities for outdoor gatherings as well as children s play areas, basketball and lawn sports. The park is landscaped and maintained by the HOA. Two benches placed along the trail provide places to rest and enjoy the lake views.
Our neighborhoods are friendly, caring places that frequently hold small, inclusive events to foster and encourage a sense of local community. The HOA sponsors a number of social events throughout the year to bring all six neighborhoods together to celebrate Westwood Lakes in its entirety. Some events focus on the children, which always bring out a happy crowd.
Our community is supported by an HOA board which has seven members. Resource Property Management, Inc. We just had our annual meeting and elected our officers for the coming year.

As HPNA has grown, the design review process has become even more important to ensure consistency and quality. When a family starts to grow and changes need to be made, or a new puppy is adopted and fencing needs to go up, the original vision of the Design Code is maintained through the Architectural Review Committee application process.
In addition, the association has updated its landscaping design and paint colors to keep up with the times. We ask any resident who would like to make changes to his or her property to log on to the portal above and take a look at the Design Code.
The next step would be to submit an Architectural Review Application, also found on the portal, to the committee via Greenacre prior to any work being started.
