Since that never happened, she didn't have feelings for him like the 1st.
Yuki gets captured by the police inside the hospital, but Yuno appears holding a stun grenade when Keigo tries to apprehend him. She detonates the stun grenade, knocking all three of them unconscious. Meanwhile, after setting a timed bomb which went off shortly after the flash grenade detonated, Minene tries to escape the hospital, only to run into Nishijima. After Minene explains to Nishijima about the deal she and Keigo made and how he framed Yuki and Yuno, the two rush back into the hospital.
Yuki regains consciousness and tries to shoot at Keigo, but he uses Yuno as a shield. Despite his diary predicting he will kill Yuno if he shoots, Yuki refuses to give up, proclaiming his love for her. The future somehow changes and Yuki gets a clean shot at Keigo.
Minene arrives with Nishijima, who places Keigo under arrest. Keigo now has a nullified diary, as he is now the criminal. After learning his family has been rescued, Keigo asks Minene to take care of his son, apologizes to Yuki and breaks his own diary, removing himself from existence. Yuki and Yuno are exonerated, thanks to files Keigo left behind, while Minene escapes yet again. A few days later, Aru sends Yuki a text message warning him about Yuno, but she intercepts and deletes it.
Murmur meets Keigo in a restaurant to introduce him to the survival game, but Keigo goes on about how he became a cop after being punished by his father for stealing an action figure from a store. Meanwhile, Yuki and Yuno go on a stargazing trip, but Yuno alters their destination along the way.
Worried about Yuki's safety, Aru contacts Nishijima and they manage to narrow Yuki and Yuno's location down to a run-down holiday resort, enlisting Hinata, Mao and Kosaka to search for them.
As they split up and search the abandoned hotels, Aru and Kosaka face various traps set by Yuno, while Hinata is tricked by a text message Yuno sent from Yuki's cellphone. When the others attempt to find Hinata, they get locked in a room which starts to fill up with gas. At the end of the episode, a dazed Yuki is shown bound to a chair, with an ecstatic Yuno sitting between two skulls in her underwear as she begins to feed him.
In the bathhouse, Hinata finds Murmur in a basket, declining a wish that she offers. However, when Mao later finds Murmur, she wishes for a waterproof cellphone, though for unknown reasons. When he threatens to give this information to the police unless she releases them, the stress causes Yuno to alter her memory again, rendering negotiations moot. As Kosaka uses his cellphone to post his will in his blog, it is apparently turned into a Future Diary by the Eighth Future Diary Holder, who addresses him as an "apprentice".
Advised by Aru, Kosaka acts out his diary's predictions to crawl through a ceiling vent, reaching an amnesiac Yuno, a catatonic Yuki and a bound Hinata in the control room. His appearance causes Yuki to recover, recalling how Yuno abducted him to keep him safe until July 28th. Yuno places the key to Yuki's shackles on the floor and tosses Kosaka the control panel key, allowing him to free Aru and Mao. Yuno then takes advantage of Kosaka's distraction and shoots at him with a crossbow.
However, Yuki, having had his key kicked over to him by Hinata, frees himself and stops Yuno, leaving her behind when his diary predicts the imminent arrival of three Future Diary Holders, all apprentices of the Eighth Future Diary Holder. After Murmur is awoken by Kosaka when she is seen floating in the pool, Murmur offers to grant him a cellphone that predicts the future, that is after Kosaka swan dives from the battle royal arena in the sky above into the pool below.
When Yuki's diary predicts an attack by the three apprentices, Aru has him moved to Kosaka's mansion. His plan is to lure the apprentices in, then deactivate the area's cellphone tower, severing their connection to the server of the Eighth Future Diary Holder.
Once the attack begins, however, Yuno appears and cuts the power to the tower remote control, wanting to defend Yuki by herself. Aru and Kosaka rush to deactivate the tower manually, while Yuki keeps Yuno in restraints. However, Marco and Ai showcase their bona fide diaries, which have remained unaffected, revealing that they are both the Seventh Future Diary Holder.
With no other choice, Yuki releases Yuno, who intimidates the couple into retreating. However, when the third apprentice, Tarou "Taa-kun" Nanbasets the mansion on fire, Marco and Ai counterattack. Their ability to predict each other's actions manages to overwhelm Yuno, resulting in her and Yuki getting injured and their diaries taken away. As Yuki and his friends are brooding in the hospital, they are approached by Minene, who poses as a nurse. After introducing Kamado Ueshita to the survival game, Murmur attempts use a rope to trip Kamado, who is carrying tea.
However, Kamado flips over and lands safely onto the ground. In order to confuse them, he has Minene feed Yuki false information. Yuki's divorced father Kurou Amano visits him in the hospital, but while Yuki's away, he searches the room for his cellphone. Yuno overhears that he has promised to destroy it in return for the cancellation of his substantial debt and realizes he is being used by the Eleventh Future Diary Holder.
Marco, who has learned all about the situation from Yuki's diary, considers Kurou as a useful link to Minene and the Eleventh Future Diary Holder and calls Yuno, demanding that they bring Kurou to an abandoned commercial tower.
Once they arrive, Marco places Yuki and Yuno's cellphones on a table and attacks Kurou. As Yuki futilely fights Marco, his father goes over to the table and breaks his cellphone, yet nothing happens. Realizing that the cellphones were decoys, Yuno attacks Ai and successfully retrieves both diaries. Just then, Tarou sets off explosives, collapsing the floor under Yuki, and both Kurou and Yuno reach out to grab him. Meanwhile, Nishijima has uncovered the identity of Eighth Future Diary Holder as a children's caretaker named Kamado Ueshita, and goes to search her orphanage.
Murmur, dressed as a nurse, helps Kurou cope with his deep feeling of being lost, bringing him outside of the hospital. She tells him how to be a free spirit, looking at the world at an existential point-of-view. Yuki chooses to take Yuno's hand, while Marco and Ai run to the crumbling tower's roof with Yuki's father, intending to jump off with parachutes.
Yuno catches up to them and once again tries to fight them alone, while Yuki hides and attempts to help her with his diary's predictions. Yuno loses and has her cellphone taken away, but it turns out to be Marco and Ai's decoy, which distracts them with false predictions. As a result, Yuno manages to critically injure Ai. Kurou grabs one of the two parachutes and escapes the tower, but he runs into his ex-wife Rea, who has been informed of the situation by Nishijima.
When she threatens to turn him in, he stabs her. Yuki, Yuno and a dying Ai are trapped in the wreckage, but Marco attempts to free Ai despite having been mortally wounded himself. With Yuki and Yuno's help, the debris is cleared out and Marco and Ai die together as the tower collapses. Meanwhile, Nishijima has been unable to find Kamado's Future Diary server. Yuki and Yuno escape using the second parachute, only to find Rea has died. After Marco takes a shower, he finds Murmur in his bed.
Ai is maddened when she arrives, assuming he is cheating. However, Murmur pleases them by giving them cellphone diaries that would log each other's future actions.
In the mall, Yuno, disguised in a bunny suit, made several attempt to prevent Yuki from doing so, since she was secretly in love with Yuki, but she is stopped by the security guards.
When she returned home, Yuno was revealed to have murdered her parents Saika Gasai and Ushio Gasaia pair of bankers who were revealed to abuse her when she failed to meet their standards. In the present, after Yuki asks Deus to bring his mother back to life, Deus reveals that he is dying and his powers have faded, explaining that all of existence will collapse unless a successor is determined soon.
When Kurou comes home injured, Yuki demands him to turn himself in for killing Rea, although there is no actual evidence to comply. The next day, Yuki trails Kurou from a pawn shop to a local shrine hoping for evidence, but it turns out that Kurou wanted to visit the site where his family was going to go stargazing before he turned himself in.
While reconciling with Yuki, Kurou is suddenly stabbed in the chest with a knife. Yuki is then ambushed by agents of the Eleventh Future Diary Holder, yet he manages to fight back and kill the agents. After Yuno arrives to help him, Yuki declares that he is now determined to win the survival game in order to attain the power to resurrect his parents. When he tells Yuno this means he has to kill her, she calmly replies that she is ready to die for him at any time.
While wearing bunny suits, Murmur chases Yuno in the mall, but Yuno escapes in an elevator while Murmur is apprehended by a security guard. Minene relays this news to Nishijima, who reveals his reassignment as one of Balks's bodyguard and his discovery that Yuno was adopted. Yuno, theorizing that Balks wants to seize Kamado's server, has Yuki form an alliance with Kamado to have her apprentices ambush Balks while driving on a country road.
However, Balks uses a jammer to sever connections to Kamado's server. In anticipation of this, Yuki and Yuno betray Kamado and slaughter her defenseless apprentices, prompting Kamado to flee in Balks's car while Yuki and Yuno give chase, eventually cornering them. Minene appears with Aru, who retrieves Yuno's umbilical cord from her orphanage, revealing that its DNA matches with the third corpse. This means that the real Yuno Gasai is dead and the one Yuki has known all along is actually an impostor.
Orin Miyashiroone of Kamado's apprentices, gives Murmur a meal at the orphanage. When Orin ask if Murmur has any parents, Murmur is reminded of Deus, who she thinks has a weird personality. Balks connects Kamado's server to HOLON, a supercomputer which holds user accounts of every citizen of the city, making them his apprentices.
Minene tries to attack Balks, but his diary lets him turn the tables. Nishijima, who has fallen in love with Minene, comes to her aid and destroys the supercomputer.
However, it turns out to be only one part of the whole, and Balks's plan is put into motion. Deus reveals to Minene that Balks helped him design the Future Diaries, wishing to grant divine power to the human race. In response, Balks makes use of the diary of his secretary, Ryuji Kurosakiand manages to capture Hinata, Mao and Kosaka, as well as injure Minene and kill Nishijima.
Minene is saved by Yuki and Yuno, who have used her as bait to get to Balks. At the amusement park with Aru again, Murmur eats one of her candies, which turns her into an adult, to allow access to certain rides. However, when she wants to go on a ride meant for children, she sees Aru already on the ride, revealing that he ate the other one of her candies, which turned him into a child.
Balks locks himself in a double-door bank vault in Gasai Bank, which can only be unlocked via retina scan by himself, Yuno's parents or the real Yuno. Since Yuki can no longer eliminate Balks for her, Minene starts hunting Yuki down, reminiscing how she lost her parents in the Middle East as a child and grew up under the constant threat of death. In a tense showdown, Minene gains a clear shot at Yuki but sees her child self standing beside him, letting Yuki shoot Minene in the torso.
Minene then destroys her diary voluntarily in order to detonate a bomb triggered by her death, intending to destroy the vault for Yuki, yet the vault withstands the blast.
A few days later, Aru expresses his distrust in Yuno to Kamado, Hinata, Mao and Kosaka after he witnessed her opening the vault via retina scan despite being an impostor, while Yuki shows Yuno his list of the deceased Future Diary Holders.
Suddenly, dark vortexes appear all over the city due to Deus's lifespan decaying. While Murmur is panicking over the world ending sooner than expected, Kamado appears with Aru, who asks Deus if Yuki could return the world back to normal if he was the successor.
Murmur tells Balks that the name of his diary is the most perverted compared to the rest of the other diaries. She then views various messages from people criticizing the name of his diary. Deus starts disassembling Aru, promising to spare him if he proves he has done anything out of his own free will, but Aru succeeds when he reveals he had Kamado make his cellphone into an apprentice detective diary, demonstrating his will to change the future and save Yuki.
Yuno asks Yuki if he has the will to kill his friends if they end up betraying him. As they arrive at Aru's apartment to kill Kamado, Yuno is held off by Aru while Yuki chases after Kamado and his friends. When he runs into Hinata, he learns Deus told Aru the divine power bestowed to the winner of the survival game can bring bodies back from the dead, but not the soul. Meanwhile, Yuno stabs herself, since Aru countered all of her attacks. After Aru patches up Yuno's wound, he rushes to the scene.
Yuno calls Yuki to prevent Aru from contacting him and tells him Aru tried to kill her and that he should not trust any of his friends.
Out of rage and fear, Yuki ends up shooting Hinata, Mao and Kosaka, still believing he can bring them back to life after he becomes a god. Aru finally arrives and warns Yuki that Yuno plans on killing him at the very end to win the game.
When Yuno arrives, Aru kisses Yuki, enthralling Yuno. Aru and Yuno commence fighting and Aru manages to smash her cellphone, but Yuno pulls out a second cellphone and slashes at Aru's throat. As Yuno kills Kamado, a dying Aru, who knows the first diary he destroyed was real, suddenly has an epiphany about Yuno.
Since he can no longer talk, he writes a message in his cellphone and shows it to Yuki, allowing Yuno to finish him off as Deus begins to collapse. While Deus was making preparations for the survival game, Murmur went to the playground to play.
However, she became lonely when it began to rain. Deus came to pick her up and put her to sleep before resuming his preparations. Yuno reminds Yuki about her diary's prediction that they will "become one" on that day.
As the days pass, Yuki eventually admits to himself that his friends were probably telling the truth, as he reminisce the events that took place in the city.
Since he cannot understand why Yuno would lie to him about the possibility of resurrecting people, he decides to get the truth from her by fulfilling her diary's prediction one day earlier and makes love to her. He confronts her as to why she would lie to him, but she responds by saying she just wanted to console him and asks him to kill her. Yuki refuses and instead suggests that they die together. When he mentions Aru's message, which claimed that "this is a second universe where Yuno has already become a goddess and has gone back in time", Yuno attacks him.
As he runs away, Yuki is intercepted by Murmur, who shows him visions of the past which confirms that Yuno has indeed played the survival game once before. In the "First World", Yuki's alter ego and Yuno ended up as the last contestants and both agreed to commit a double suicide from overdosing rather than having to kill the other, but Yuno faked her death, thinking she could bring Yuki back as a goddess.
When she discovered in real life she could not restore souls, Yuno traveled back in time and killed her other self, taking her place in this "Second World". Distraught at this, Yuki breaks out of the visions and confronts the First World Yuno. Yuno comes to Murmur for advice on how to impress Yuki. Murmur has Yuno dress up like a geisha and then a dominatrixboth of which scares Yuki away. When Murmur realizes that Yuki is a cat lover, she has Yuno dress up in a cat suit, which does not impress Yuki at all.
The Fifth's Game Yukiteru's mother, Rea Amano decides to come for a visit and he picks her up at the train station. When they arrive at home they find one of their windows has been broken.
Using his diary Yuki sees that it was done by Yuno. Once inside, he runs up to his room to find Yuno cleaning his room saying she wants to impress his mom so she will bless them.
When his mom comes up he shoves Yuno into the closet. Seeing that he and his mom are having a good time Yuno proceeds to try and escape. Not wanting his mom to meet Yuno he shoves his mom out of his room and when he turns around he finds Yuno looking at one of his porn magazines. He grabs it and gets mad at her but then the magazine is grabbed by his mom. During dinner, he hopes Yuno will lose his mom's favor as she is usually picky about food, but she is instead impressed by her cooking and says that Yuno will make a good wife and all that is left for them is to have sex.
She then explains that she will be staying home for three days and looking after a kid of one of her colleagues who committed suicide in the Omekata Cult mass suicide. That night Yuno sleeps on a futon in Yuki's room and asks if he will make a move on her.
Yuki says no because he does not love her, but Yuno says with a smile that he will come to love her and according to her diary on July 28 they will become one, which means they will have sex. He says that he could change the future but Yuno states that this is one future that she won't even let him change. The next day the child arrives. He talks with hand puppets and asks "big sister and big brother" their names.
It is later revealed that the child is the Fifth diary owner, Reisuke Houjou. All day he tries to kill them and is thwarted by first Yuno on his first two attempts and then Yukiteru on his third. Yuno states that it would be easier to kill him but he stops her saying it be better to find the diary. He looks in places not listed in the diary as Reisuke taunts them.
Later, when he is outside looking Yuno decides to kill Reisuke, and chases him with a hammer, accidentally knocking out Rea in the process, much to Yuki's anger.
She then helps him to find the diary and they are just in time to take it from the delivery man just before Reisuke gets it. Yuno figured when Rea and Reisuke went shopping, Reisuke posted his diary to the house. As Yuki open the package, it contained poisonous gas, which is released and Yuki inhales it.
He is dragged to the bathroom by Yuno who is then challenged to a game of hide-and-seek by Reisuke for the antidote. While they play Yukiteru checks his diary but it only tells him what is going on in the bathroom. Then he opens the window and takes a deep breath. Hearing the commotion on the stairs, Yuki charges out of the bathroom to Yuno where he gives her air via a kiss and faints again.
Yuno kills Reisuke after, and she collapses besides Yuki. Minene appears, coming on behalf of Kurusu as part of their agreement, and uses the antidote to heal Yuki and Yuno. Yuki regains consciousness, and Minene tells him to abandon Yuno while he still can, otherwise she will be the death of him. Later, Kurusu covers up the events through unknown means whilst Rea was taken to hospital and left shortly after.
The Tenth's Trap Being enrolled in a new school after Minene's bombing, Yuki makes it his goal to make one-hundred friends. He's accompanied by Yuno who remarks it is better they do not use their diaries, shall they risk attracting attention of other users like Minene, during the way he looks at a boy who stares him as well, before disappearing.
At his new class he reunites with Kosaka, who promises to make his life a living hell, but is stopped by Hinata Hino and Mao Nonosakawith the former presenting herself, just as Yuki tries to greet her, he falls and accidentally pulls down her pants, prompting Mao to take a photo, ending with a comical beating from Hinata. They later have a friendly talk regarding a series of brutal murders, and a boy who skipped class, Aru Akise, who is known to be an eccentric boy who seeks to be a detective, and they decide to hang out and check one of the crime scenes.
Yuno waits for Yuki, but is surprised to see him with friends, which she dislikes. Yuno tries to tell Yuki that they are not trustworthy and that he only needs her, but Yuki thinks she is overreacting. They go to a park, and play around, with Yuno staying in the background visibly disturbed to the point of writing "die" on the ground several times.
They arrive at a lookout point, and Hinata runs off. Yuki soon predicts she has been attacked, and the group find her corpse along with a pack of hounds, just as Akise appears and guides them to a building nearby with the dogs in pursuit.
They are trapped as Akise explains he has been investigating Yuki since he is related to mysterious events, namely the battles against the other Diary Users, and the dogs try to break through the windows. Yuno suggests to Yuki they should use the others as bait while the two of them run away. Yuki refuses and revealing his power to see the future and demonstrates the use of his diary, this quickly makes even the distrustful Kosaka to follow Yuki's instruction of which window to block, which eventually makes the dogs tire and flee.
After a brief celebration, Mao holds Yuki at knife-range while she takes his phone giving it to Hinata who appears alive and unharmed, revealing herself as an apparent diary holder, and she targets Akise who she believes another User.
Hinata reveals she used a fake body to trick them and that her father is the true owner of the Breeder Diary, which allows her to control dogs. She wants to kill Akise because he has been targeting her father for the serial murders. Akise then challenges Hinata to a coin-guess game with the hands with his Diary on the line.
While initially distrustful Hinata accepts as with Yuki's diary she can easily predict the result. However she fails twice in a row one as a warm up and one as a real bet forcing her to return Yuki to them. Yuno discovers Akise is tricking them as his Diary is not making the signature sound as the other diaries, therefore he is lying.
He admits this is true and that he is a normal human, but before Yuno kills him, he quickly releases himself and puts his life as bargain. Hinata tries once more, but before that Akise instructs Yuno to cover Yuki's ears. Hinata loses once more not understanding why she lost.
Akise explains that it is because the Random Diary predicts what Yuki believes to be true instead of the real future, therefore the game was completely legit.
Mao nonetheless tries to break Yuki's diary but Yuno stabs her, as she recovers the diary. Everybody except Mao and Hinata leave, with Hinata sending orders to the dogs to kill them. Yuki decides he cannot leave Hinata and Mao, and wants to help them, with the dogs behind them, they decide that Yuki will go for Hinata while the rest lure the dogs away.
However Yuno tricks them and goes with Yuki, who seeing he will not go back, decides to stab an incoming dog. The two soon reach Hinata, with Yuno quickly holding her at knife-point. Yuki tries to pacify her as Kosaka and Akise return, but Yuno claims that she will kill anybody she believes will take Yuki from her.
Seeing this, Yuki decides to say to Yuno that she is not his friend, but quickly announces that she is his girlfriend to everybody which greatly shocks and embarrasses her. Yuki demands to Yuno that since she is his girlfriend, she must acknowledge his friends or he will dislike her, Yuno agrees and releases Hinata who is thankful of Yuki. Yuki realises the enormity of what he has just said and cannot take back the claim. Hinata is contacted by her father Karyuudo Tsukishima who tells her she did well but reveals his promise to rewind time and be a better father was a lie to motivate Hinata, telling her to not grow up to be a bad person like he was.
He tells Yuki to be careful of the diary owners, particularly the ones who act nice around him, just as Kurusu appears behind him and shoots him dead, the gunshot heard over the phone. However, Yuki does not seem to acknowledge Kurusu's involvement. The Fourth's Betrayal Yuki embraces his friendship with Akise who invites him to go see a movie together. However, while waiting at a bus stop, Yuno appears and drags Yuki onto a bus. Yuno reveals a text she received from Akise, explaining there is a wedding exhibition for young couples and claimed Yuki wanted to invite Yuno but was too sheepish to do it.
Yuki freaks out after realising they have been set up, although Yuno is thrilled with the idea. The two actually have an enjoyable time at the exhibition, and stage a wedding ceremony in which Yuki is stunned by Yuno's appearance in a wedding dress, although he continues to be troubled by what he saw in Yuno's house.
Later, Yuki thanks the woman who has been their guide throughout the day and realises she is Naoko KurusuKurusu' wife. Yuki later carries the tired Yuno home, and finds Akise waiting for them. Akise explains he has found a seemingly bottomless hole at the back of the house, where the room with the corpses used to be. Yuki asks Yuno for answers but she blankly states that Yuki has never been to her house before. Yuki and Akise leave, but the latter warns Yuki he is a pillar of support for her emotionally.
Several days later, Yuki and Yuno are taken to the police station by Masumi Nishijima to speak with Kurusu regarding the events with Tenth. Yuno begins to panic, and looks about for weapons, but Yuki calms her down and is escorted to an interrogation room where Kurusu sits.
Kurusu talks with Yuki for a moment, before dropping the charade of trying to act normal and aims a gun at Yuki's head and offers a game of Russian roulette.
Yuki panics as Kurusu aims the gun back and forth, explaining their alliance is no more and he intends to become God. Yuno bursts in, having seen Yuki's Dead End and shoots Kurusu, shooting off one of his ears and injuring him. Nishijima appears and is forced to be their hostage as Yuki and Yuno race for the roof. Kurusu recovers and speaks over an intercom, telling the station staff to catch Yuki and Yuno. Several officers confront Yuki and Yuno on a staircase.
Yuki panics, aiming a gun at a policeman and shoots him in the stomach. Realising what he has done, Yuki thought the policeman would wear a bulletproof vest like Kurusu did. Yuki and Yuno run to the roof and stand on the edge. Yuki apologises to Yuno for his cowardice, but Yuno kisses him, before they both fall off the roof.
Nishijima runs to the edge but sees the two survived the fall, having hit the roof of a truck and go on the run. Now condemned fugitives by the police, Yuki and Yuno hide out in a store house next to Sakurami Hospital where Yuki recalls why his parents split up, due to his father's debt issues. Yuno intends to keep her promise to Yuki to go stargazing with him. The two spot Naoko Kurusu walking by on her way into hospital. Curious as to why she is there, Yuki and Yuno follow her through the building.
Yuno runs on ahead, only for Yuki's diary to go off, and part of the hallway explodes. Minene appears, dressed as a nurse, and is revealed to be working undercover at the hospital. Yuki accidentally sets off one of Minene's bombs, trapping them in the middle of the floor with two holes between them.
The two agree to form an alliance to escape their predicament, Yuno passing a ladder across to aid them. Kurusu telephones Minene, and asks if she is sticking to their alliance or is she planning to betray him. Unlucky for her, Yuki kept on yelling that she will betray her until Kurusu threatens to kill her. Minene screams down the phone and officially ends their alliance. Knowing Kurusu and the police will come after them, Minene forms an alliance with Yuki and Yuno to make their stand.
Planning to use her trump card, Minene takes the two to a hospital room, revealing Kurusu' terminally ill son Yoi Kurusu. Minene quickly takes Naoko and Yoi prisoner and explains Yoi dying of a heart condition which Kurusu only recently learned of and asked Minene to protect him should he become a target for the other diary owners. Yuki is not enthusiastic about fighting Kurusu, but Minene tells him to man up and gives him a handgun and a flash grenade.
Outside, Kurusu, Nishijima and other police officers arrive, with Kurusu hellbent on rescuing his family and killing the other diary owners. Minene attempts to negotiate with Kurusu, but he ignores her demands and sends in a SWAT team to arrest and kill the diary owners. Yuki, who is patrolling the hall outside Yoi's room, is called by Yuno, who tells him to run.
The officers quickly apprehend Yuki, who panics that Kurusu will murder him. Yuno and Kurusu both charge down the hall, Kurusu reaching Yuki first and holds him at gunpoint, whilst Yuno threatens to trigger the grenade. Kurusu agrees to release Yuki, allowing him to take five steps back so Yuno and he can lower their weapons. However, Yuno suddenly leaps at Kurusu, intending to blow herself and him up with the grenade. Yuki objects, telling Yuno he does not want her to die and wishes to see the stars with her.
Yuno pulls the grenade's pin, but instead of exploding it releases a blinding white light, actually a flash grenade which only stuns people, Minene knowing Yuki would not be able to handle a real grenade.
Rescue Operation Being a couple, Yuki and Yuno would plan a trip where both of them would disappear for several days. Yuno on her desperation of being tagged by Akise and have her Happy End ruined decides to secretly kidnap Yuki and have him secluded so the two of them can be happy in the end. Yuki's friends Hinata, Mao and Kousaka would be enlisted to help by Akise and Nishijima, as Yuno has hidden in an old residential area full of hotels some of them owned by her parents, and Yuki's friends would not alert her as much as the police.

Yuno discovers that they are tagging her and eventually tricks Hinata into thinking Yuki escaped and sent a message asking for her, Hinata does arrive but Yuno attacks her and had her tied up. She uses the same trick to lure the rest of them, using a mannequin of Yuki to trap them in a room and bury them in concrete gas in the anime. Yuno almost naked, tries to feed a barely conscious Yuki while Hinata confronts her about what she is doing, Yuno believing Yuki is content.
She is interrupted by Akise who claims to Yuno he wants to negotiate with her and blackmails her with the corpses found at her home, planning to tell the police about them and asks her about the third corpse's identity. Yuno is at first enraged that Akise would defile her parents' corpses, but goes silent after hearing of the third one. She then bursts in hysterical laughter, repressing her memories in a fit of despair, while madly talking to Yuki that they are "weird people" and cuts communications.
Eventually thanks to Kosaka he is be able to use the ventilation shaft and sneak into the control room where Yuki and Hinata are confined. Yuno, not knowing who Kosaka is, expresses shock that he has a Diary. Listening to his explanation, she deduces Kosaka is not very smart and tricks him into giving him the key to the control room and later that of Yuki's.
Throwing him the first key, Yuno uses the chance to pull out a crossbow while Kosaka frees Mao and Akise. Yuno coldly shoots him in the leg whilst pointing out his failure, however, before she can kill him, Yuki is freed by Hinata. Snatching the crossbow from Yuno, Yuki slaps her and stops her, saving Kosaka and freeing Hinata in the process. Seeing Yuki leaving with his friends, Yuno desperately tries to call out to him, however, an enraged Yuki tells her to go to hell.
Sad and alone Yuno resolves that Yuki is not safe without her and goes after him. The Eleventh's Kingdom After his father was murdered by mercenaries sent by John Bacchushe grabbed the knife that was thrown into his father's chest and brutally stabbed a mercenary. Using his Random Diary, he managed to incapacitate one of the mercenaries and used another as a human shield while a gun was fired at him.
The final mercenary was killed by a slash through the throat, courtesy of Yuno. He collapsed onto the ground and weeped for his dead father. Yuno sat with him by the ground and, after a brief conversation, he held a knife at Yuno's, intending to kill her and become god.
His resolve faltered as Yuno kissed him and said that she could die any time, at which point his knife dropped to the ground and he began to sob uncontrollably into the air, all the while Deus watched from his Cathedral of Causalitythe right side of his face crumbling.
Initially, Yuki and Yuno do not show up at a meeting between the Diary owners. This leads to Deus nearly expelling them from the game and erasing them from existence, but they show up at the last possible second, Yuki's arm around Yuno and carrying an arrogant demeanor.
He announces the Eleventh Diary owner's identity as the mayor of Sakurami City, shocking the people present. He bursts into a laugh and tells an appalled John Bacchus that he has been sitting for five days at the lobby of the city hall, gathering data. He noticed that the Eight's orphanage had only been closed due to his interference and concluded that the Eleventh was him.
After the meeting ends, he appears in an apartment room, conversing with Yuno and revealing that he had been acting upon a script written by Yuno.
He praises Yuno, which flatters her and they continue to discuss, this time about the Eleventh's plan. They talk of their own plan, which involves getting the Eighth to join them and form an alliance. Yuki looks skeptic, asking if he can pull off such a stunt. Yuno jumps on top of him and says that she won't forgive him unless he kills all the Diary owners and become God. Yuki is at a later time seen on a cliff side, now allied with the Eighth, Kamado. He plans to, with the help of Kamado and her orphans, to attack John Bacchus while he is en route.
He rests after the planning stage and is offered a riceball while it is explained to him that Kamado does not intend to become God, but her orphans wish her to. Yuno signals to Yuki that John Bacchus' car has arrived, and the plan is set in motion. The orphans begin to attack the car. But, Bacchus then deployed a signal jamming device, disabling all subsidary diaries, greatly weakening the Eighth's army of orphans.
Yuki and Yuno used that opportunity to turn on the orphans, slaughter them and kill Kamado and Bacchus. Kamado escapes with John Bacchus and Yuki follows them in a car. He hands his phone to Yuno, who, aghast, learns that Akise intends to appear and tell everyone the identity of the third body buried in her back yard. She leans out the window and shoots at the car, which evades every shot, Bacchus himself evading a shot to the head through his Watcher Diary. Yuki rams John's car, which falls off the highway, as does Yuki.
Akise, as predicted, arrived alongside Minene. He throws Yuki the second world's Yuno Gasai's umbilical cord and revealed that it was a perfect match with the corpse in the back yard. A desperate Yuno screams at Yuki to not trust them and pleads that she is Yuno. Yuki steps back from her in a state of disbelief. The End Begins Final Battle After Yukki understands the game that Murumuru was making, he decides to protect the third world Yuno at all costs, even if it meant altering the timelines and so he does.
Until the first world Yuno finds them and makes a deadly combat with Yukki. However, Yukki's phone had predicted a "Dead End" for himself which would come from Yuno. But still, Yuki continues fighting in order to protect the third Yuno and also save his beloved Yuno.
